New Kamakaze Highpower CPU Cooler

Foreword:

Actually we test only passive and fanless CPU coolers. However there are some Details about the Kamakaze cooler which made us think to test it here. The specialty about the Kamakaze is , that it can cool an  Intel and an AMD CPU . It would be nice that all of the coolers are able to do that. The second good thing is that the menufactor say it is same as good as the other High End coolers f.e. like Alpha PAL , Thermaltake ect. We will see

The Retail package contains:

An English manual , a complete pentium 4 frame , screws. and heatpaste. And beside of that a slotblende with a speedcontrol

The massive copperplate is the bottom of this cooler , right under the 490 cool sticks ,which are made in oval form for better cooling (they are usually round on coolers other brands). A 80 mm fan is working on the top of the cooler. It has double ball bearing and its brushless and can be exchanged with every other 80mm fan.   

Assembleing and noise:

In our case the assembleing work without any problem , however we had a case where you can pull out the mainboard part. in smaller and standart cases it could be a little problem , so we recommend to get the mainboard out before putting the coolers on. The fan spins with from 1500 -3500 rpm and has a noiselevel from 16 - 37 dB

Summary:

The cooling power of the kamakaze is good , with an acceptable noise level. without any doubts it is comparable with the upperclass of the best coolers available.With about $ 50,00 for a cooler with fan the kamakaze has a better price/use relation than the most compeditors

Manufactor is the company japanese company Scythe. A known in japan but in europe or USA not known. a distributor for europe and USA is searched. I got a few samples so far for selling.
