Scope of delivery
The case comes in a stable visually nice box , together with a pack of screws, tools , mainboard screws , bay tracks and other small parts. Not included is a manual and the fan for the airtunnel.
First impressions:
the Airliner Terminator is made out of stable steel , and has many extra adds like the airtunnel for 2x 120mm fans. In opposite to some other cases the mainboard tracks goes not on the left side in the , but the right side. So then the
mainboard is in up side down position ,so the airtunnel which goes from the back to the fron side can create a good airflow.
The PSU in the upper side of the case sid on gummiplugs for terminating vibrations.
Processing:
basically the al has a lot of space. Up to 13 drives fits in the case that it actually changes into a midi server tower. The fact we are here talking about a mooder case you can see on the nice designed side window , which is made
out of plexiglas with a metallic textur integrated.
With the windows you can look all time at the components and on the other side because of the metallic structur in the glas elektromagnetical distorions are lower.
the EMV
security doesn´t exist for example on plexiglas windows other cases , and problably nobody cares about that a 2,4 ghz cpu running onthe same frequency like a microwave.
The processing quality for a 90 Euro euro case is very good.
The also contains nice features like the lockable front and side door , to prevent the components from theft. This security feature we know from some notebooks , where you can use a steelrobe to secure the system at a table or other
things , to experience no bad surprise on a LAN Party for example after visiting the toilet.Especially those who are alone on those events probably appreciatet with nice security feature.
Practical use also have audio and USB
connectors at the front and on the cases upper side, which make the case user friendly standing under or on the table.
The inside:
The powersupply which stands on soft gummi to eliminate vibration goes from backside with
use of a frame into the case. The user friendlyness is very high and every part is easy to reach. Thsi also means for the easy and stable installing the drives using metal tracks. Here you can see the server benifits of this case. even an
airtunnel upgrade for dual cpu mainboard is included.
The air circulation of the case is on the new generation , and two 120mm fans can be mounted on the airtunnel. However fans are not included , which is ok , because then
everybody can choose his own fans. Friends of cpu overclocking chooses more a 120mm high spinning Power Fan , silent freaks sometimes doesnt use the airtunnel at all.
Because of its physically construction the airtunnel amplifies the
noise of a fan. Of course you could cut down the vibration doen using noise absorbing kits or decontact the fan from the case , this makes it a good modder case.
One more good advantage is the tool free fixing tracks for the pci cards.
I often cursed because some of those tracks where not compatible to all formats , but here they found a nice dual solution. Track Lock open , installation of the pci card , lock closed , done. if the card is not compatible then you can
mount is on the standart way. I would call that a practical good and compatible solution , without need of tools.
Also the installing of drives in the bay tracks, even those inside a low noise box where , goes easy and smoth , thank
to the dual solution , without any tools.
Also a reason to smile , especially for modding friends is the place for the mainboard. You could put the case up side down for that the PSU is at the bottom side and the cpu air flows up out of
the case. The modding possibllity like said are very good.

Thanks/award:
Big thank for the team of frozen sillicon for the problemless and fast delivery of the testsample. Our new award this case earns for a good quality and good price. Also the many extra features like the airtunnel
and new fan technique.
Quality:
the processing quality is in anyway very good for a modder case which you also could use as a server. A stable userfriendly case , good for LAN PArty and EMV secure.
Installation and compatibillity:
No problems occure because the manufactor holds the standart formfactor dimensions. Unfortunately i had no NCU2000 in stock for testing , but the Old NCU only can be mounted without
using the airtunnel. Athermaltake fanless 103 fits in the tunnel , and two 120mm fans and a normal cpu fan allows overclocker systems.
Note:
For a low noise system we used the cut down papst 120mm fan. In normal usage the CPU
would reach 37°C with the airtunnel and the fan running at 1560rpm.

Conclusion:
The Airliner Terminator case shows its best side with all its attributes. Actually created for modders , the case also satisfies overclockers and as a server tower. EUR 89,90 is a good price/rhabillity and the case will find its friends not only in the modder szene.
