Those temperatures are the meximum we read after 10x benchmark run , with passive cooling. The values are very good , so the system in this configuration is ok for practical usage. |

Our Award for this product is for the very powerful 3D performance with a quiet original fan. Even passive cooling is possible , that makes this Card probably to the fasted passiv coolable Graphic board on the market at moment.
Conclusion
The MSI X800 SE passed our expectations. The graphic card of this version offers more than enough 3D power and is passive coolable at the same time , with most GPU coolers like Zalmen ect. Even the original fan is working quiet , in opposite to other graphic cards. The giant software bundle is not only unique , its contains carefully selected programs .
Temperatures / final words:
The temperatures during all test stayed under 40°C , often even under 30°C. But i have to admit that our test rooms where kinda cold during the Weekend , where we had a roomtemperatur of 14,6 °C only. We straight expected that the graphiccard is ok for passive cooling.
If that is the case then the RX 800 SE is the fastest passive coolable graphic card available at moment.

On November 20 the webside computerbase wrote that this Graphic card will be anounced by ATI on december 1st. So we have it allready available. Due to this reason we like to give some short benchmark infos for you, because a lot of people waiting for this. We are sure that they are many WWW sides (special 3D sides) which will bring you much more details to this vga card in the next days or weeks. Our reviews are concentrating on the possibilitys of fanless cooling. Therfor, after this short introduction we check if the card works with a passive cooler, using the new Zalman Dual Heatpipe Cooler.
